Our R555 New Wheel with flow-form technology was designed to be lighter, stronger, and have a greater resistance to shock. By using flow form method we were able to improve the strength of the wheel and reduce weight by up to 15%-20%.

This year we CNC engraved out Option Lab on one of the 5 spoke

We also laser printed the specification on the back to save some weight costs

Flow-Forming starts with a specialized low pressure casting of the wheel. The initial casting features a raw and thick barrel section. The next step involves the machine to heat and spin the wheel while pressure is applied to the barrel. This process strengthens the barrel to produce a wheel that is much stronger than your typical gravity cast at a far less cost compared to forged.

It’s great to read about the R555 Flow-Formed Wheel and how flow-forming can deliver a lighter, stronger rim with better shock resistance than typical gravity casting. The CNC engraving and spec laser printing also show thoughtful attention to both design and weight savings. If you’re pairing this kind of engineering with a fun engagement tool like GoSpinWheel (wheel of names), it sounds like a solid way to bring confident decision-making to classrooms, giveaways, or everyday moments.
